Exhibition at The Mall Galleries in London

The exhibition went very well. Two pieces were sold and i am now a Distinction Licentiate with the Society of Designer Craftsmen. It was very well run and I would like to thank all who were involved in the organisation of this exhibition.

I am exhibiting my latest work including a new range of lamps and framed pieces alongside established designer-makers at the Society of Designer Craftsmen at The Mall Galleries in central London from January 9 - 18th 2009.

This is a piece I was playing with over the summer and would like to develop further. The organza lends itself very well to adding structure to the piece.

New hand made books and albums made by 'Emily and Kate'. All albums are hand made to commission and so can be made to any size and colour.
Pictured are: 1) Butterfly book; textured cotton background with devoré outer layer with extra butterflies appliqued on and one embroidered coloured butterfly.
2) Cotton, linen and lace album with slot in window. We have placed the butterfly in the window as an example of something that could be inserted. Orders and commissions undertaken. £40 each for 15 pages. Price negotiable depending on size and fabrics used.
